MathPicBot ("we", "the bot") is an AI math solver that works inside Telegram. This policy explains what data we process when you use @MathPicBot, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to solve your problems.

What we collect

Your Telegram account identifier (user ID) and the language/timezone preferences you set — so we can reply correctly and count your weekly free solves.

The content you send to solve a problem: photos, text messages and captions. These are the math problems you ask us to work on.

Basic usage data such as the number of solves and timestamps, used to enforce limits and prevent abuse.

How we use your data

To read your problem and generate a step-by-step solution.

To manage your free weekly quota and any Telegram Stars top-ups.

To keep the service secure, debug issues and improve solution quality.

AI providers and third parties

To produce solutions, the content you send is processed by third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf. It is sent only to generate your answer.

Telegram delivers all messages and handles payments made with Telegram Stars. Your use of Telegram is governed by Telegram's own privacy policy.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data retention

Problem content (photos and messages) is retained only as long as needed to produce and deliver your solution and to operate the service, then deleted or anonymised.

Account preferences and aggregate usage counters are kept while your account remains active with the bot.

Your rights

You can stop using the bot at any time and request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data.
